Asian Chicken Salad

This is my Aunt Jill's recipe (thanks for sharing, EJ!). Anything Aunt Jill makes is fabulous!


1 whole chicken boned and chopped very fine
1-1/4 cup celery chopped fine
3 to 4 green onions chopped fine
1/2 cup toasted slivered almonds
1 small can water chestnuts finely chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup miracle whip
2-3 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
salt, pepper, and powdered ginger to taste

Mix all ingredients together and sprinkle with salt, pepper and ground ginger to taste. Serve alone, on sandwich or on a pared tomato cut flower style. Also tasty grilled on sourdough.
