Kool-Aid Playdough

This is our favorite classroom recipe for playing on special occasions. Be careful with the very little one's - it smells so good, they may try to eat it (though it won't hurt them). Make sure you measure the ingredients exactly.

2 1/2 c.flour

1/2 c. salt

2 pkgs. unsweetened kool-aid (whatever color/flavor you like)

2 c. boiling water

2 Tbsp. vegetable oil

Mix dry ingredients. Add water and oil; stir. Mix or knead with hands when cool. (I do this all in my kitchen aide mixer and have never had any problems.) Store in a Ziploc bag or other airtight container. Last several months, in the fridge.
